We have a very active and ultra happy Dutch Shepherd and he goes everywhere with us. We have blown through previous backseat hammocks and all they tried desperately to endure they all succumb to rips and tears and the cheaply made clips and fasteners. They all work for a while but there was this thing where he always felt like he was going to fall off the backseat even though the hammock protected him to a point. Eventually that's where it ripped.Fast forward to my wife surfing the internet and she saw this rear full length carrier. The dog acts like he's living in a penthouse now. Not so much whiny which is always appreciated. This product seems well made although still new out of the gate. I like the pouches and I like the orange trim which I strongly feel helps the dog jump into the backseat rather than looking at a dark black rear SUV and God only knows what he's jumping on. The zippers are a wonderful addition as they zip in reverse and take quite a bit of practice. It's slower getting him out of the car bud once we get him in and strapped in when everything is buttoned down correctly it really works very well.I recommend this product especially to those who have large dogs. Smaller dogs I think would have a heyday running around but the fact that dogs don't have to worry about falling off the seat is the biggest positive of all.
