Huddlehounds must have read my mind. Rescue dog needed a comfort toy to mouth. First we had a green Huddlehound frog with the same fuzz on the body. Delighted, the dog mouthed to soothe as needed...but redesigned it - first chewed off the front legs (spit them out), the next day the back legs went, then the head. He waited each time for surgery to be completed and toy returned. Please with himself he lugged that green fuzzy football shaped body for weeks...occasionaly gnawing a small hole and pulling out stuffing...patiently waiting again for destuffing. Finally it got So small from all the necessary folding for stitching. We went though this with 2 frogs...the the last green "football" was slowly getting smaller and I panicked - if only there was an already round toy with the same texture/coat. And there it was online. Husky seems to just wants to mouth and cuddle something at times - not rip and destroy so this round fuzz ball works for us. Pup treasures his "Baby" and carries it around al the time - pitches it in the air and catches or play retrieve the thrown ball all by himself - as he chortles all the time. It's holding up. It's lasting - and I'm no longer finding frog legs discarded here and there. Best soothing comforting toy ever!
