What a difference in the car with my dog. No more worries of him getting hurt if we have to stop quickly. And he can still put his head out the window which he loves to do.I did really like these seatbelts -- easy to use/install and kept my dog contained in the backseat. However, I will warn that if you have a power chewer to watch out as mine chewed right through the seatbelt in a matter of about a minute. We got to the park, I apparently took too long to get her out, and in her growing impatience she decided to let herself out [face palm]. So, just be aware that can happen as the belt is on the thinner side.The product was so easy to clip to seat and to dog harness! This is my 2 nd purchase of this product. One set for each car!Worked very well! I took them on a 30 min ride and 20 min were on the freeway. I love to have my windows down and obviously they do too so with these, they were able to have a fun and safe ride ?I think there greatThis review is for the restraint item as it connects to the car, and not for the attachment you choose to put on your dog. This product is easy to attach to the car and serves its purpose. However, use common sense and attach it to a harness on your dog instead of a neck collar. In case of a whiplash or an accident, you don't want that jerking force on your dog's neck. Purchase a good harness to pair with this. The diameter that attaches to the car seat headrest did not appear to be expandable to a large size so make sure you don't have a "too-large" headrest.This is a great product. The only thing I wish was different was the length that it is able to go. I have a big German Shepherd and even when stretched to the leash stretched to the longest ability, he isn’t able to move very well in my back seat.Other than that, this is a fantabulous product! It’s durable, sturdy and effective!!!Only attach this to your dog's body harness. This is NOT meant to attach to a dog's collar, as one reviewer mentioned. (Would be like a seat belt around your neck) Duh!!!! Of course that would be dangerous. Seems to be good quality and strong. Attaches/adjusts easily around headrests. Great adjustable length to keep my pups on the seat. I situated one on the passenger side and one on the driver's side of the back seat. They do not get tangled and still have the freedom to look out the windows plus they can stand, sit, and lay down comfortably.I bought these to go with some dog car seats which had a couple of safety issues around the security of the stitched in safety leash. I felt my puppy was very secure with this product on our first car trip out without another adult present.That said, he did try to have a little chew of the leash but he was in the front seat so I just pushed his mouth away from it and he went to sleep. If he was in the back, who knows, but there are sprays to deter chewing and I’m hoping that as he gets used to car rides he won’t try to chew it for long. (I forgot to take his chew stick out with us today, which might also have provided a distraction)As for my senior dog...perfect! The tether comes from above so he can turn around in his seat without getting his legs tangled up.Bought these for my car which doesn't have a dog guard fitted . The seat belt is easy to use and keeps my dog secure in the boot where he travels. The second one comes in handy if he is travelling in anyone else's car who also doesn't have a dog guard fitted. Not used extensively yet so can't comment on longevity, but so far so good.I'd always used the plug in typedef seatbelt before, until one of my dogs managed to step on the red button and unbuckle! This better style can also be used with a waterproof dog seat cover which covers the entire back of the car and the seatbelt clips so they are great! They are adjustable too so my lab can safely reach to stick his head out of the window without being able to get out.Imagine my surprise when I open the boot and 2 puppies dash out and start making a bee line for the other cars nearby. Very lucky nothing bad happened to them.My 3-month-old and 7-month old cocker spaniel utterly destroyed these on first use in the space of a 10 minute car ride to a park. Can't help but think if a 3-month-old puppy can chew through it in such a short amount of time there's either a serious design flaw or a poor product with poor materials.Pro's- Easy to attach to the car and to adjust.Con's- Not even remotely chew proof.These seatbelts are really good so much easier to use than the ones that click in the seat you dont soend time trying to find them i would definitely recommend
