My only complaint is that the strap itself doesn't feel very strong, but I don't have a big dog so I'm not too worried. I have noticed people are attaching this to collars. Please don't do this as it risks severe injury to your dog in the event of a crash. Use a harness. This way they can stay secure and injury is less likely in a crash. The buckle did feel a little loose in my car, but I realize it's meant to fit most cars and probably won't be a perfect fit for everyone. The clip attachment is great for dogs in the trunk or back seat, but being able to remove an attachment while the other is in use would be nice.I love that these came in twos. It's very sturdy, adjustable and secure. Even at its loosest adjustment, it's sturdy and will allow safe movement. If your dog is like my dog-nephew and loves moving back-and-forth between the windows in the back to stick their head out, they will be limited to one window where they can safely feel the wind in their hair. They'll probably reach the other window to see, but not enough to stick their head out. My boi doesn't like that part, but he works with what is available to him.Sometimes I have 4 dogs in the car. This enables me to connect two dog belts together in one seatbelt. Hitches and unhitches easily.Excellent solution to my dog moving all around the van. I attached to one seat while the other seat was stowed in the floor. My 35 lb dog was able to sit and lay comfortably on the van floor. I did not have to worry about her jumping out when I opened the door. A great solution to my needs. We just got back from a 3,100 mile road trip with our 15 lb one year old Italian Greyhound. I planned to purchase one of those carseat dog beds, but quickly realized it would not attach to the backseat in our SUV properly so we bought this instead. I love that you can attach it to either the seatbelt receiver or use the LATCH attachment. Our dog has needle feet and is always stepping on the seatbelt release so the clip worked best for us. I put his bed from home in the center of the backseat then clipped this restraint to his Ruffwear harness. He rode that way comfortably for our entire trip. The restraint isn’t super long, but it is easily adjustable. He was able to stand or circle around to readjust himself, but not jump down where he could hurt himself. It seems very well made and the clip that attaches to the harness seems very sturdy. I’d buy this product again without hesitation, and we will be using it for even short car trips around town from now on.This seatbelt is wonderful. With clips at each end, I can attach it to the child safety seat restraint anchor at the top position, at the top of the seat. Then I attach to the dog's harness (never a collar - no choking hazard that way). It's adjustable so she has plenty of room in the back seat to sit, stand or iie down, and can get her head right up to the front seats for lovings. She can't get any further to be a hazard to the driver. Everyone is safe and happy with this one. It also makes sure she stays in the car if we have the windows down, no worries about her jumping out.Nice length to give pup a little freedom to move but still have a sense of safety while riding in the car.Needed this so bad to use when taking dogs to Vet.Very sturdy and easy to install in car's child locks but a bit to short, even stretched. Had to attached my old short one to this one for my Golden Retreiver to be able to move a little bit. Would only recommend if you have a small/med dog.Works very well, very sturdy, never had an issue with it unclipping. Tried it in a 2007 Toyota Matrix and 2011 Nissan Altima and the buckle worked. Strong enough to hold my 60 lb pitbull in the backseatI liked how easy it was to adjust size and that it just clipped into the seatbelt making in awesome. I took my dog out, he resisted abit on the lead and it held up, figured I was good to go. He pulled it a few times, then just ate through it. Lasted half way of my 17min trip. He's not a chewer, but clever enough to sort out what to do if he doesn't like what's happening. Anyway, can't really recommend it, and I'll be looking for something stronger now as he knows he just has to eat leads like this to get loose.I bought this so I could attach it to the anchor point in my car, as my dog kept getting tangled with the seatbelt in the seatbelt clip. Unfortunately, while attached to the anchor point, even on its longest setting, this is too short to reach even my large 65 pound dog while he is standing up, let alone allow him to lie down. For reference, I have a Toyota Corolla.
