This was a great second cover up. I could wash one and have one on my pup who had just had spay surgery. She popped off the “cone” the second day, so the onesies were perfect and she loved them. And with the incision covered, it eased my stress over possibly getting foreign matter in her incision. I would definitely recommend. And the little snaps were not only easy, but fun and didn’t come undone.I’m soo happy my breeder told me about this when i got my dog fixed. I bought two so we could rotate being she had to wear for two weeks. Def better than wearing a stupid cone. And we didn’t have to remove for her to go potty.My dog will be having her spaying surgery in September and dreaded the thought of her having a cone around her neck. I was happy to see there’s an alternative. Very soft and looks comfortable I ordered a large purple she is a 17 pound miniature schnauzer it’s a little big but I’m gonna keep it as she may grow bigger in the next month.This surgery suit is almost perfect, it needed some alterations to fit properly. Our girl is long (25-26" from her nape to her tail) but she only weighs 66lbs so we ordered the XXL. It has a lot of snaps which is not great but she can go to the bathroom in the suit so that is a BIG plus! My biggest complaint about the suit is that the neck dosen't have any elastic in it and stretches too much. This caused the whole suit to slide down so I added some elastic to it myself. I also added extra material to the bottom to make it harder for her to reach her incision.Second onesie I bought for my Frenchie in heat. While it definitely fits well and she won’t get stuck in it like her other one (she kept kicking her legs out of it and getting trapped). BUT because the back is entirely open it doesn’t serve my purpose of an alternative to a diaper (which she also refuses to wear) because it’s open down to her privates and doesn’t contain the mess from her heat. Will definitely keep it for her spay surgery next month though.I bought the medium for my 10 lb chihuahua and it fit him perfectly. The material is soft, lightweight and comfortable. He hates clothing but tolerated this at bedtime. There is an area that you can cut out for a male dog so you don’t have to take this on & off for potty time. I am only using this suit on him when he’s in his crate at night (when I can’t see if he’s licking sutures) so I did not need to cut a hole in the suit for pottying.There are a lot of little plastic snaps up the back which makes it a bit hard to get on a hyper puppy but they are soft and probably more comfortable than a zipper. Since I only put it on once at night it’s no big deal and works well.It comes off very easily and quickly in the morning for outside pottying.I would definitely recommend this! And it would make great pajamas for those who put them on their dogs.I love this onsie! Only thing is I wish I ordered a 3xl the 2xl is just a little short otherwise it's great!I got this for my puppy after she was spayed and had stitches for a couple weeks. At first I was worried it might be tight and rub on her belly but it was nice and loose and soft. It didn’t get in the way when she went to the bathroom and she didn’t even seem to notice it was on. It was a worthwhile purchase. Plus she looked like she was wearing pajamas which was adorable
