Once I felt how buttery soft the Wild One collars are, I wish I would have chosen that instead. However this is strong and works for active dogs who get wet and dirty.Bought two of these. The pink one faded quickly. The blue one didn't fade. There was nothing wrong with the sturdiness or the hardware. I expected the color to kast longer.We started our new pup out with a very cool nylon collar with a mountain scene on it. It looked great... for like a week, and then it looked shabby and dirty because our boy loves to wrestle in the dirt at the dog park. Washing that collar helped, but it was fading after a couple times, and besides, who can be bothered?THIS collar is a better solution. It looks great, feels sturdy, and you can snap it off your doggo and wipe it clean in a minute. That quick release is a great safety feature too. 5 stars!This is a very nice, sturdy collar.Pros: Looks good, strong, no smell, perfect for swimming.Cons: The black portion of the collar never flattens out.Didn’t realize what the “martingale” loop was, essentially adds another stretch point to the collar, and may present a choking/catch point if you have a dog like my Weimaraner who runs through the brush and wades in chest deep water full of underbrush. Love the build and durability but would not buy with the loop again for a working/hunting breedThis is the best dog collar I’ve ever bought. I found it while looking for beach friendly dog items. I’ve always hated our dog’s collar or harness after going to the beach. It’s wet and sandy and gross. This collar stays clean and dry. I highly recommend this collar.I have bought these for all of my dogs as we live on a farm and they love to roll in all kinds of stuff so these are perfect for easy clean up. They don’t hold a nasty smell. Dry quickly when wet. Have not snapped off once unlike other collars. I have 3 lab mixes around 60ish pounds and ordered the large originally and they have plenty of extra room so went with a medium on my last purchase and it fit wellColor is cute, matterial as expected, rubbery but not so much that it would pinch the dog's fur, easy to keep clean and does not smell. But what makes it pretty much unusable is the fact that it comes loose all of the time. It comes with a plastic piece that is supposed to hold it in place but it doesn't. I have to constantly adjust it and the dog almost got out of it a few times. For the money, I don't think it's worth the stress that the dog might get out of his collar at any time.These collars are great because my pups love jumping in water.It is strong, lightweight (not too thick), & waterproof - very happy with this dog collar.
