This is a fantastic crate. I got it for then 1-year-old Golden Retriever mix and we’ve had it for over a year without any problems. He was crate trained prior to acquiring this item and does NOT have crate anxiety, but we upgraded to this because he was too tall to sit up straight in the size equivalent standard metal crate. This one is comfy and he has plenty of space to move around—He’ll even go in it on his own for naps! The crate is HEAVY, so much so that when it got delivered, I had to open the box in the lobby of my apartment complex and take it piece by piece to my apartment to build. It’s solid but, not difficult to move given the locking wheels provided. The trays are easy to remove for cleaning, the slats are comfortable, and I was able to simply unscrew some of the bolts in order to move it into a room with a narrower doorway and then put it back together. My only feedback is that some of the pre-drilled holes aren’t perfectly aligned for each piece so it can sometimes be difficult to get them to line up for assembly. This didn’t prevent assembly, however, and it’s been working fine. I’d definitely recommend this item! This is a pretty good kennel. It took me less than an hour to fully assemble it and move it where I needed it. After a few days though I’ve been noticing some of the screwed that were placed to hold the foundation together have backed out . I would reinstall them with no issues. My wife and I went on vacation this past week and our dog sitter called us one evening to tell us that the dog got out of the kennel. It appears multiple screws came out and the dog was able to get out from underneath the foundation. This is not good as the foundation is heavy and could hurt the dog at some point. Is there any solution for this? This is an awesome kennel! It was easy to put together, looks good and is easy to move around or lock the wheels to keep in place. Unfortunately, I have a 75 pound labradoodle that has MAJOR cage anxiety. He had surgery and needed 8 weeks of kennel rest. After trying multiple anxiety meds, we had to stop putting him in the kennel as he spent all day, every day trying to escape. He never escaped but was wearing down at the door and eventually got a gash on his snout. After a week, I decided it was best to stop putting him in the kennel before he hurt himself worse. If you have a dog that adjusts to being in a kennel then he will love this one! If yours is like mine, good luck, because we are now just leaving him out with all the other rooms closed off. He is accustomed to a dog door and free reign and has adjusted well otherwise with only leash walking outside. This is a great kennel, just not for my stubborn dog! Two of my favorite features were the pitched roof and the slatted floor that was not easy for paws to fall in! Best of luck to you and your pup!Bottom of the cage came with a dent and one of the wheels was not able to go in all the way, leading us to not use any of the wheels instead of having a heavily uneven crate. For the price of the crate, I expect it to come undamaged and be able to use all of its components. Sent an email to the manufacturer and haven't heard back. We will see how the quality holds with our dog but based on the conditions it was sent in I have low expectations.Aluminum/ is made thinner than I expected especially for the price. The images show the rusted hinges, misaligned holes for one latch and for one side of the crate, some dents throughout the crate, and worst off, no holes on one side for the bolts. This is unusable as there is no way to attach one whole side of the crate.Edit: I have reached out to the seller and they have been very present to work with and have very good at response times. They seem to care about having satisfied costumers and wiling to work with any issues to make any dissatisfied customer into a satisfied customer. I look forward to updating the review further!Final edit: After the great costumer service, they sent a different crate and it was easy to put together and seems very sturdy. It is not perfect but I am pleased with the purchase and most above all the costumer service.Easy to assemble. Tall sturdy frame. Esthetically pleasing in the room. I enjoy the wide metal plates on the floor, that way his paws dont fall through. Lock latches are kinda tough to open, they get stuck. Its big enough to fit dog bed inside.the only problem i have with this product is that when it arrived all of the screws and bolts were rolling around in the box, and the cage had a small dent in it, i understand that things happen after it ships, but i am missing the screws for the latches to lock the door.
