We bought this bed for Coco to match the decor in the house. Wish we had bought two. It is perfect for her to nap while I’m working.I ordered in Large in Aspen. My boy LOVES his bed. It’s so easy to clean (just unzip and throw it in the washer). The large is pretty big for my 70lb Doberman, but it gives him plenty of room to stretch out. If your dog is a chewer, don’t leave them alone with it. Definitely worth the money. I might get a second one in a medium for the living room.The fabric is durable and holds up to my dog's digging and scratching.My dog puked in it. I took foam out and put it in the wash right away and it was good as new. I washed on warm and dried on medium for 30 minutes.I put thicker and bigger foam padding from another dog bed into the base. The foam it comes with four the base is about an inch thick, and bottoms out when you press on it. My dog likes it alot with the thicker bigger foam which fills out the bed giving it better structure and rigidity.I bought this for one of my cats who has yet to use it as she prefers to sleep in a cardboard box but my other three teenage cats who have never really been interested in cat beds all fight over who gets to sleep in it and I have found two sleeping in it together many times. It was a very good price for the obvious high quality and I hope it will withstand washing as well as use by multiple cats. For size my 10 pound cat looks kinda tiny curled up in it and has plenty of extra space but my 12 and 14 pound boys manage to sleep in it together comfortably but it is a tight fit for two that size. Was purchased for an 18 pound cat! It is a very attractive looking cat bed and cats love the shape of it.Ordered this for my cats and, though dimensions are listed accurately, I neglected to realize how huge it was. Cats were interested, but this thing will not fit in my house! Rehomed it to my aunt, who has a few large-breed dogs. She was dog sitting a massive, elderly Rhodesian Ridgeback (a dog that weighs more than I do). This bed is huge - can fit a 100+ lb dog with stretching room. High-quality fabrics, high-quality zippers, well-stuffed, and comfortable. How do I know it is so comfy? Well, I laid in it with her dogs for a while - LOL. This is a pricey bed (though I bought mine as a returned item, at a big discount, from Amazon Warehouse Deals)... but the quality shows. Very durable. She’s already washed it, and was very pleased with the outcome.I have 5 of these dogs beds and I love the Bowsers brand. They are pricey compared to other brands but the quantity is always superior. This particular model has the bottom cushion zipped in front the bottom of the bed so “nesters” won’t be able to pull the cushion out. Don’t spend the money if you have a dog who likes to chew on their beds - the bed won’t survive well (trust me!)This is a sturdy bed that appears well made. After some research, we selected this bed over some big name ones (Orvis, Bean) because this bed was the color, size, and shape we were seeking.Oddly, we've had this bed for about two months, and the dog still avoids it. I don't know what she doesn't like about it - perhaps a smell? But, she would rather cram herself into the cats' bed or sleep on the floor than in this bed. It's similar in shape and size to her old one, so I don't know why she is so slow to warm to it.Even though the bed is everything we hoped it would be, I'd try a different one if I had it to do over!This is my second bed by Bowsers. I have a donut bed and now the urban lounger. I got the urban lounger to have in my living room. It has cleaner lines and doesn't show the hair as much. The x-large is quite big and fits my adult German Sheppard and 5 month old German Sheppard with room to spare. These beds wash great and hold their shape. They do not compress much.It is expensive but definitely worth it. My dogs get so much comfort from these beds. You won't regret your purchase!
